The Visible War

“Soldiers accused of sexual assault and other sexually-based offenses now face a system which is stacked unfairly against them. Recent reforms to military law and practice have focused entirely on making it easier to convict Soldiers and providing comfort to the alleged victims of sexual assault, rather than ensuring impartial justice prevails. Until new legislation corrects the imbalances recent changes to the UCMJ have created, Soldiers accused of sexual assault and [...]

Captain Mark Schwartz, United States Air Force

Captain Mark Schwartz former Lackland prosecutor turned defense counsel, who previously as a prosecutor used false testimony and withheld evidence in a military case. Capt Schwartz is now serving as a defense counsel at Lackland AFB and we have received reports of him sandbagging his current clients and helping his friends/prosecution get innocent men convicted. This unethical/corrupt lawyer not only needs to be disbarred, but sent to prison.

Special Victims Counsel

The Special Victims Counsel (SVC) program has introduced another imbalance against the accused in the military justice system. While undoubtedly well-meaning, it disadvantages those accused of sexual assault by limiting or even denying access entirely to witnesses. It also introduces the notion that sexual assault victims are parties to a criminal case, which goes against the principles of both civilian criminal law and military justice. The SVC program already has created [...]

When Courts Are Used As a Weapon against the Innocent

"A courtroom is a place where justice is supposed to be served. More and more, however, courts are becoming crime scenes — here, innocent people are being kidnapped and held captive. There’s no justification for the wrongdoing behind the record number of exonerations society is witnessing — 149 last year, and the numbers are rising."  Read More: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/lorenzo-johnson/when-courts-are-used-as-a_b_10927492.html
